dreams

I seem to do a lot of dreaming, in my sleep that is, i've given up on the awake variety. I suppose everybody dreams, maybe i just remember a lot of them because I spend a lot of time being woken rather suddenly from a lovely sleep (snoring hubby, screaming child, barking dog....you know, the usual)

I wonder what the purpose of these dreams are though - some of them are obvious - you're working through your day, dreaming of past loves, replaying that computer game that you spent the last three hours of your day yelling at...

The one I had last night was wierd though. I was part of this group of friends that went to a resteraunt, had dinner, danced, and then left. Ok, but then, as soon as we left, we totally forgot each other and the hole experience. BUT - this is where it gets a bit strange, every year for the next 60 years we went back to this place at the same time, went back in time, and relived the whole experience.

Now, it gets stranger and stranger. After 60 years, someone else took over this place and changed it (yeah, i know, about time) So we all went back as usuall, but couldn't go back in time. Then we all looked at each other and suddenly remembered the entire 60 years!

Then it went totally wacky and it turned out we were all dead and thenmy husband poked me in the eye with his elbow.

Some insight into the meaning or purpose of this dream would be appreciated!
